Job Responsibilities:
As a Technical Support Engineer, your role encompasses:
- Providing remote technical assistance for break-fix issues and operational guidance via Zoom, phone, and case updates.
- Employing active listening to comprehend customer problems and their business implications, ensuring swift solutions.
- Embracing continuous learning in technology and interpersonal skills for effective customer support.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product management, and quality assurance to tackle intricate technical challenges.
- Maintaining friendly and collaborative customer interactions, setting and managing expectations for high satisfaction.
- Proactively contributing through Knowledge Base articles and Community posts.
- Thoroughly documenting customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the support ticketing system.
- Flexibly participating in occasional weekend and holiday on-call duties.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

- Established background as a Technical Support Engineer or similar position, preferably within a software or tech domain.

- Familiarity with support ticketing systems.

- Solid grasp of Linux, databases, or programming concepts.
- Knowledge of Hadoop stack elements like HDFS, Hive, and Impala is advantageous.
