1. Monitor and analyze key metrics: Keep a close eye on important metrics such as revenue per unit, gross margin, provisioning liquidation, conversion rate, average order value, customer acquisition, and top performing styles. Use these insights to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
2. Collaborate with the analytics team: Work closely with the analytics team to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identify opportunities for optimization. Leverage data-driven insights to enhance future campaign performance and achieve better results.
3. Coordinate with the finance team: Ensure accurate profit and loss (P&L) reporting for the portfolio. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile discounts with brand associates, securing funding for sale day properties and maintaining financial transparency.
4. Monitor competitor pricing: Track the discounting and pricing strategies of key brands on other platforms. Ensure pricing parity and anticipate customer switching by staying informed about market trends and competitor activities.
5. Analyze inventory and revenue trends: Conduct in-depth analysis of inventory, revenue, and stock cover. Evaluate the impact of marketing initiatives on these metrics and identify opportunities to optimize inventory management and drive revenue growth.
6. Influence teams and stakeholders: Work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders within the organization to align goals and project timelines. Influence cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives and drive impactful outcomes.
7. Streamline reporting processes: Establish efficient reporting processes to streamline operations and facilitate data-driven decision-making. Develop standardized reports and dashboards to provide clear insights to relevant stakeholders.
8. Sales forecasting and trend analysis: Conduct sales forecasting and trend analysis to anticipate market demands and make informed business decisions. Stay updated on industry trends and developments to identify new dimensions of pricing and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
